Sanik-Ya and Rotary meeting - Tyler Forstrom

Today was a whirlwind of inspiration and community spirit in the heart of Guatemala. We ventured to three distinct water sites, testing the quality of this vital resource. Our encounter with Edwin, a local farmer crafting his own yogurt for sale, was heartwarming. With sheer determination, he rallied the community, resulting in a staggering 15,000 workdays contributed to install the water transport system. Talk about impact! Later, we took a boat ride across Lake Atitlan to the quaint town of Panajachel, we joined a lively Rotary meeting, discussing plans and fundraising for future projects. This journey underscored the power of community and collaboration. Truly an unforgettable day!
