Individuals signed up to go to Guatemala that aren’t planning to come.
The main issue at hand is not the number of participants, rather the donation amount so that we receive enough funding to start the project.
There are still enough rotarians participating that they should still be able to proceed with generating their necessary reports.
May be able to get a Global Grant of $40,000.00. Most of funding for previous projects came from Rotary clubs. The main Rotary focus recently has been water and sanitation.
The most common way to provide grants is through the “club to club” method, but these are typically sized at $1,000.00.
The Global Grant requires additional documentation.
Currently in the state of preliminary assessment (prove the community wants the project). This document is 90% done. Needs buy in from rotary club in Guatemala and from one that will secure the funding.

Andy and Jose want to double check the frequency of payment before full approval. Annual expense is ok, but not weekly.

Jose agrees to take Secretary position. Jose will be interim Compliance Officer until board expands to allow for someone else to take the role.
